Nobel Prize winner Kary B. Mullis coming to Vilnius for life sciences forum

Mullis, one of the most honourable speakers of the event, received the award for improving the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique, which is now broadly used in laboratories.

Organized by the public establishment Enterprise Lithuania, Life Sciences Baltics 2014 is a platform for reviewing the latest progress in biotechnologies, medicine and pharmacy, as well sharing know-how and experience.

This year’s forum is expected to attract more than 1,000 participants from 40 countries around the globe.
