Pašvenskas takes over as commander of Lithuanian National Defense Volunteer Force

Pašvenskas replaced Colonel Artūras Jasinskas, who has been appointed as deputy commander of the Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian Brigade and will be based in Lublin, Poland, Captain Paulius Babilas, spokesman for the 5,500-strong National Defense Volunteer Force, told BNS.

Pašvenskas has recently studied in the United States. He has served as assistant chief of defense and the commander of the Kęstutis battalion.
