A new code had to come into effect on April 1, but parliament members say the Ministry of the Interior failed to prepare necessary regulation and are inviting Minister Saulius Skvernelis to give an explanation.
The old Code of Administrative Offences, which dates back to the 1980s, is to be extended until September.
