Teachers’ strike could affect students’ performance, child rights ombudswoman says

Žiobienė has told LRT that many students, especially those in their final year at school, are concerned about the disturbed education process that might have effects on their results and particularly on their exam performance.

About one in ten schools across the country started a strike on Monday while teachers’ unions and the government negotiate over education reform and higher wages.
