US military vehicle runs into civilian car in Lithuania, leaves 3 injured

The accident occurred at about 12:54 p.m. (local time) on Tuesday. Lithuania’s military said the military vehicle Hummer was leaving a side road when it failed to yield to VW Passat and ran into it. Three passengers of the VW Passat injured during the crash received immediate medical assistance from the US troops and were taken to hospital for further medical attention.

The troops involved in the accident serve in the Minnesota National Guard 2nd Battalion and currently take part in the Iron Wolf 2017 training in Lithuania.
