For the first time three years ago, on the great wall of the Cathedral of Vilnius, Christmas Fairytale shows attracted almost 200,000 viewers.
This year’s 3D Fairytale is special because the scenario was written by Lithuania’s acknowledged poet, publicist, theatre and film director and author of the popular children’s books Vytautas Landsbergis.
3D Christmas Fairytale ‘Here Comes a Nine-Horn Deer’ is a blend of Lithuanian folklore, historical symbols, Christmas symbolism and modern 3D effects.
All equipment used in the event will be brought from abroad.
There will be an opportunity to enjoy the fairytale projections longer than last year – it will be shown three times a day, 5, 6:15 and 8 PM, from 25 December until the very last day of the year, 31 December.
