Workers in Lithuania mostly motivated by salary and bonuses, survey shows

Sixty-four percent said they were motivated by their salary and 34 percent said various bonuses were important for them, according to a poll commissioned by DELFI.

Meanwhile 26.9 percent mentioned career opportunities as the key motivating factor, followed by relations with co-workers (20.6 percent), self-expression (19.2 percent) and the company’s values (4.8 percent).

Only working people, aged 18-75, took part in the survey and they were able to choose three motivating criteria from the list.

The survey was carried out by Spinter Tyrimai pollster on April 17-25.
