On the basis of Copenhagen international auction data, total fur exports annually produce around €125 million in income for the Lithuanian economy with chinchilla farms producing about €26 million of that total.
At a conference in Vilnius, representatives from a range of countries discussed chinchilla farming and housing conditions, as well as business and economic development.
