Cigarette packet with explosive thrown in Belarusian Embassy’s territory in Vilnius

The explosive, which the police suspect was a firecracker, exploded at 8:26 p.m. on Thursday evening, the Police Department said.

No injuries or damages have been reported.

Paulius Radvilavicius of the Vilnius police said the incident was reported by the embassy’s employee. The police opened a probe into violation of public peace.

No suspects have been identified.
