This weekend the Nordic Youth Organisation is holding an international event in Vilnius, gathering over 30 people from 10 different countries to create new collaborations for addressing inclusion and polarisation in society.
The organisation’s Secretary-General Pia Winstén explains that “our societies are becoming more polarised and people are feeling more excluded from society in different ways. That is why we brought together a large number of representatives from all sectors to really be hands-on in creating new collaborations and activities.”
Top officials from Lithuanian organisations JRA, Lithuanian Social Business Association and Nacionalinė NVO Koalicija are also participating in giving a perspective and view of the situation in Lithuania regarding these issues. “It is truly awesome to see these collaborations taking shape for a better society,” says Nicholas Murigu, the event’s team leader.
