Jolanta Grašienė joins the SBA Group Board

Jolanta Grašienė, Vice President of SBA, has been confirmed as a new member of the SBA Group Management Board, heading the Group’s finance, IT, organisation development and project management functions. In order to increase the efficiency of management, the new member of the Board will be accompanied by a review of the principles for the formation of the Boards of major SBA companies. 

“The joining of an experienced, competent leader with an excellent understanding of the Group’s core areas of corporate governance will contribute to focusing the entire organisation on key priorities and development projects during this challenging period. At the same time, Jolanta’s appointment marks a review of the SBA Group’s and its businesses’ board model, which aims to increase management efficiency, value-added growth and the speed of decisions,” says SBA President Arūnas Martinkevičius.

Grašienė has been with SBA Group for 20 years. She has been Head of Finance and Business Control for a long time and since 2018 she has been Vice President of SBA Group. Grašienė also serves on the Boards of Real Estate Development, Investment Management and other SBA businesses, and since 2019 she has been the Head of the SBA Competence and Service Center Board.

In addition to Grašienė, the Group’s Management Board is currently comprised of four other members: Egidijus Valentinavičius, Vice President of the SBA Group and two independent members of the Management Board – Saulius Adam Vaina, the founder of the international consulting company Civitta, who has worked for a long time at the consulting company McKinsey, and Marcin Kotlarek, a partner of the international consulting company Boston Consulting Group, who joined the Board last year. The Board is chaired by SBA President Arūnas Martinkevičius. 

SBA is one of the largest Lithuanian capital business groups. It consists of more than 30 companies operating in real estate, furniture manufacturing, textile manufacturing and investment management. The group employs around 5,500 people. Consolidated sales in 2020 amounted to EUR 342.5 million.
