Optimists make up 51% among respondents younger than 30 years old, 49% among those with university education, 45% among right-wing voters, 43% among public sector employees, 43% among those in households with monthly incomes of more than EUR 800 euro and 40% among urban residents, alfa.lt reports.
The pessimist view of the situation in the country prevailed among the unemployed (80), the retired (78%), Russian and Polish speakers (76%), people over 50 years old (75%), those with household income below EUR 450 a month (74%), and rural dwellers (72%).
Fifty-seven percent of respondents who identified as liberal voters were positive about the situation in Lithuania, while sceptics dominated among voters of the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania (91%), the Labour Party (71%) and the Order and Justice party (68%).
