Last January, industrial production in Lithuania was 10.5% up on the same period in 2014, the second-best performance among the 28 EU member states.
Ireland topped the index of industrial production growth with 42.7%.
Latvia underwent industrial growth of 4.6% last January, compared to January 2014, while Estonia reported a contraction of 0.2%.
The EU average was 2.5%, according to Eurostat.
