Estar’s growth was a result of a rapid growth in the foreign markets – the Lithuanian brand’s smart devices are currently exported to 30 countries worldwide. Estar products broke into seven new foreign markets – Spain, Belgium, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Georgia and Armenia.
“Last year, we sold nearly a third of a million tablets, which is 100,000 more than in 2014,” said Dovydas Asanavičius, the export sales director at UAB Mikrovisata which controls eSTAR.
The most successful example its penetration of new markets is in Serbia, where eSTAR managed to take almost a 30% market share and has become the absolute leader in the tablet computer market in the country.
