“I cannot even imagine that this will be different. (…) Lithuania is faced with the same air threats as Poland,” Jach, politician of the Polish Law and Justice Party, told BNS.
“The Patriot system has to be of the type that can be integrated with the neighboring states,” he added.
Warsaw says the agreement with the United States on acquisition of the systems was finalized in July. The systems can cost about 7 billion euros.
