Border guards in the Dieveniskes post at the border with Belarus were informed about posters featuring Soviet symbols on two Vilnius Street buildings, one of which is derelict, and immediately went to the place and took the posters off.
They reported the incident and handed the posters to officers from the Salcininkai District Police Headquarters.
The dissemination and public demonstration of Nazi or Communist symbols is banned Lithuania and punishable by a fine of between 144 and 289 euros.
