US director makes documentary about Hill of Witches in Lithuania

In Barn’s words, the US does not have a single wooden sculpture in open air, as they would be destroyed by people or nature.

The abundant sculptures on the Hill of Witches have surprised the director in two ways – as cultural heritage, they tell stories of the people who lived there, and are also interesting as objects surviving the weather conditions, Klaipėda University said in a press release.

Constructed on the Hill of Witches 36 years ago, the 25 wooden sculpture remain and are part of the 80 works of art that exist on the hill.
