Earmarked from the funds of the Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion programme, the funds will be transferred to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Monday.
After a severe earthquake ripped through Nepal on 25 April, over 7,000 casualties have been reported, with more than 14,000 people injured. About 500,000 buildings were affected, including about 70,000 razed to the ground.
