According to the press release, lives and vision of the troops are not in danger.
The accident occurred at about 10 a.m. (local time) on Wednesday in the barracks of the Lithuanian Great Duke Vaidotas Mechanized Infantry Battalion. The troops immediately received medical assistance and taken to the Kaunas Clinic for a more detailed check-up.
The Lithuanian army’s Military Police has opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
