Imported Armenian wine and Ukrainian non-alcoholic beer banned

Over 6,000 units of Ukrainian non-alcoholic beer, Obolon, and 780 kg of red sweet Armenian wine S.Nikas have been banned from the Lithuanian domestic market following laboratory tests.

After examination of the red sweet pomegranate wine S.Nikas sample, Lithuanian authorities found ethyl alcohol concentration of 16.4% which significantly exceeded the manufacturer’s declared level of 15%.

Similarly, the amount of dry material content found in the non-alcoholic beer Obolon sample was 6.08% which half the level indicated by the manufacturer at 12%.
