“In Minsk, a partial ceasefire agreement was reached, I would like to put an emphasis on this – this is just ceasefire, and only time will show whether it will become reality. A ceasefire agreement was reached in Minsk five months ago, and it was not implemented. So, this is only ceasefire. The main issue of border control remains unsolved,” Grybauskaitė told Brussels journalists on Thursday.

In her words, as long as the border control issue is not settled, “Russia‘s army and heavy munitions were able to move across the border in the past and potentially now”.
