“The investigation is prolonged until November 28,” Prokhorov said. “Investigators are currently working with perpetrators.”
“I have no doubts that the crime’s masterminds could be tracked down in [Chechnya‘s capital] Grozny,” the lawyer added.
Co-chairman of the Parnas opposition party Boris Nemtsov was shot dead in central Moscow on 27February. Zaur Dadaev whom investigators consider the killer, Khamzat Bakhaev, Anzor Gubashev, Shadid Gubashev and Tamerlan Eskerkhanov have been arrested over Nemtsov’s murder. In April a Moscow court prolonged their custody till 28 August.
