The Syrians landed in Vilnius in the early hours of Monday, the Ministry of the Interior has told BNS.
The Muslim family was transported to the foreigners registration centre in Rukla, central Lithuania, where they will be accommodated for several months.
Afterwards, the refugees will be moved to a permanent residence in one of the country’s municipalities.
Under the commitment to the EU, Lithuania is to resettle 1,105 refugees from Syria and Iraq over two years.
