 Romuald Lipskij

The request was, however, rejected, and he will spend the remaining eight months of his sentence at Pravieniškės prison and will be released in January.

Lipskij tried to convince Vilnius Regional Court and the Court of Appeal of Lithuania that he matches the requirement for early release as he’s spend four fifths of his sentence in prison, works at the correctional facility, stays away from the prison’s criminal subculture, has been awarded for good behavior several times and keeps in touch with his family.

Lipskij was sentenced for secretly photographing documents of Oro Navigacija in his office and later handing the information to a Belarusian intelligence officer. He was detained in January, 2014.
