The top adviser on foreign policy to Lithuania’s president, Nerijus Aleksiejūnas told News Radio that: “We expect positive decisions that the sanctions will be extended for another 6 months.”
“It is clear that considerable progress in implementing the Minsk agreements has not been made and we are all agreed on this position,” said Aleksiejūnas.
In mid-June the EU also extended for another year of economic and travel sanctions against the Crimea.
