The solemn signing ceremony will take place at the Polish President’s Office and will be attended by Poland’s President Bronislaw Komorowski.

The headquarters of the LITPOLUKRBRIG brigade will be based on Lublin, Poland. Lithuania intends to delegate up to five permanent troops and send more troops for trainings and exercises.

The brigade’s battalions will be deployed in territories of the countries of origin and will be sent to the destination as a unit following a decision to activate the brigade or part of it.

The battalion to be provided by Lithuania will be formed from the troops of the Grand Duchess Birute Battalion.
