Works of restoration of the section of Totorių Street from Gediminas Avenue to Labdarių Street were started in the Old Town of the capital. The works of installation of new modern automatically lifting barrier gates were started in Gediminas Avenue. The City has arranged for the installation of new stainless steel hydraulically lifted and lowered barrier gates by the end of the summer. This modern system, which cost about 50 000 euro, was brought to the capital from Great Britain.
