Lithuanian military aircraft to take humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Four Ukrainian soldiers who had been injured in the Anti-Terrorism Operation in Ukraine and underwent treatment and rehabilitation at the Military Rehabilitation Centre in Druskininkai and Druskininkai Hospital will take the flight to return to Kiev, while three other members of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be brought to Lithuania for treatment and rehabilitation on the way back. They will be supervised by Lithuanian military medics during the flight, Lithuania’s Ministry of National Defence said.
