Laurynas Grigelis and Lukas Mugevičius moved to the finals after beating a Polish couple, Maciel Nowak and Pawel Cias, in a straight set match 6-3, 7-5. The Lithuanians didn‘t lose a set so far in the tournament and it seems that they are the favourites in the finals.

Grigelis and Mugevičius, who are seeded second in the tournament, will play in the finals against the Latvian Mikelis Libietis and his American partner Hunter Reese, who won against another Lithuanian couple, Tadas Babelis and Kasparas Žamaitelis, in a straight set match 6-3, 7-5. The Latvian – American couple seeded third in the tournament.

Grigelis, who advanced to the semifinals after a retirement of his opponent in the singles, will play in the semifinals against the third-seeded Spaniard Gerard Granolles – Pujol (26, ATP 355) who won in the quarter-finals against the sixth-seeded Italian Claudio Fortuna (25, ATP 489) in a three set match 6-2, 2-6, 6-3.

Grigelis, who is seeded second, remains the highest-ranked player who is still in the tournament after the first-seeded Belarussian Yaraslau Shyla (22, ATP 315) lost in the quarter-finals to the eight-seeded Pole Pawel Cias (21, ATP 722).

Cias will face in the second semifinal the Russian tennis player Roland Slobodchikov (21, ATP 1047) who sent home fourth-seeded Evgeny Elistratov (20, ATP 517). Slobodchikov won in the Russian derby in a surprisingly easy straight set 6-3, 6-1.
