The creative camp will take place in Stanica Luhanska, a settlement near the contact line between Ukrainian government troops and Russia-backed separatist forces, at the turn of September and October.

Vinokuras says he will stage a circus performance based on his book about a clown who lost his nose.

The actor says the art of circus, motion and theater will help children express their personal experience of war and better understand their feelings and emotions associated with it.

“It will be a joint performance where the theater and the circus will be used as a tool to help children gain self-confidence,” he said.

The armed conflict in Eastern Ukraine has claimed over 10,000 lives since 2014.
