Two exhibitions, opera to mark completion of Lithuania’s Palace of Grand Dukes

“We have prepared things of cultural-bomb-value,” Jolanta Karpavičienė, the museum’s deputy director, told journalists on Friday.

The completed second part of the museum will invite to a universal event hall, a scientific library, introduce, the treasury of Lithuanian rulers. Moreover, a restored former garden, thought to be created on the order of Queen Bona Sforza.

The first part of the Palace opened its doors to the public in July, 2013. All in all, the construction of the Palace of the grand Dukes of Lithuania has cost over 100 million euros.
