Totorių Street is being renovated in the Capital
Works of restoration of the section of Totorių Street from Gediminas Avenue to Labdarių Street were started in the Old Town of the capital. In a couple of months, new asphalt pavement will be built, also replacing about 2000 sidewalk tiles and road curbs. The City allocated about 70 thousand euro for the repair of Totorių Street. Automatically lifting barrier gates – in the Gediminas Avenue
The works of installation of new modern automatically lifting barrier gates were started in Gediminas Avenue. The City has arranged for the installation of new stainless steel hydraulically lifted and lowered barrier gates by the end of the summer. This modern system, which cost about 50 000 euro, was brought to the capital from Great Britain. Traffic is restricted in a part of the avenue in the evenings of working days and on weekends, giving way to pedestrians and cyclists, city sightseeing tours and active recreation, a Vilnius city municipality press release states. When developing real estate projects, construction and sustainable real estate development company “YIT Kausta” is the first in Lithuania to start using an application of digital construction for smart devices, which was created by the Danish company “Dalux”.
