Furthermore, the main Lithuanian flag above the government building is already flying half-mast, the government’s press service told BNS Lithuania.

Lithuania will have an official day of mourning on Thursday between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. as a sign of respect for the victims of the Brussels attacks.

During the time of mourning, the Lithuanian national flag will fly half-mast or feature a black ribbon.

Furthermore, the government proposed that all Lithuanian physical and legal entities honor the victims with two minutes of silence at 1 p.m. on Thursday.

Tuesday’s attacks at Brussels’ airport and central metro station killed at least 35 people, leaving about 250 injured.
