If elections were held this week, the Social Democrats, led by Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius, would be supported by 15.8% of the voters.
The Peasant and Greens Union of Ramūnas Karbauskis would get 13.4% of the vote, ahead of the conservative Homeland Union – Lithuanian Christian Democrats, led by Gabrielius Landsbergis, with 10.7%.
The poll was conducted for DELFI by Spinter Tyrimai public opinion and market research company on July 19-26. The company interviewed 1,002 respondents between the ages of 18 and 75. The margin of error is 3.1%.
Lithuania is holding general elections in early October.
