On Saturday at 16:35, a Wizz Air Airbus A320 pilot reported that the plane had collided with a bird. The aircraft at the time was preparing for a take-off and was already on the runway.
“In order to avoid a longer delay until the engineers had checked the company’s aircraft, Wizz Air sent another plane to Vilnius Airport. The flight to Barcelona was delayed by two hours,” said Wizz Air communications spokesman Gabor Vasarhelyi.
