Brussels Airlines flights from Vilnius to land in Liege on Thursday

Indrė Baltrušaitienė, spokeswoman for Lietuvos Oro Uostai (Lithuanian Airports), the operator of three Lithuanian international airports, told BNS that the Brussels Airlines’ aircraft should land in Vilnius in on Thursday afternoon and would later take off for a return flight.

The Thursday flight of Latvia’s airBaltic from Brussels to Vilnius has been cancelled, while Ryanair to Brussels Charleroi Airport, which is located approximately 70 kilometres south of Brussels, leave on Thursday as scheduled.

A string of explosions rocked Brussels airport and a central metro station on Tuesday, leaving at least 35 dead and approximately 250 injured.
