Diplomats look to help 3 Lithuanian citizens on hurricane-hit Caribbean island

According to information available to the ministry, two Lithuanians are in the Dutch part of the island and one is in the French part.

“The ministry and Lithuania’s embassies to the US, France and the Netherlands are actively watching the situation in the region, communicating with the responsible authorities, communicating in social networks and looking for possibilities to help our citizens on the island of Saint Martin,” the ministry’s Information and Public Relations Department told BNS.

The Foreign Ministry has no information about Lithuanian citizens affected by the hurricane in the US southern state of Florida.
