EU-Britain talks should move from words to deeds – Grybauskaitė in Brussels

She spoke during the EU summit in Brussels where EU leaders should announce that the Brexit negotiations had not yet achieved sufficient progress to open talks on the future trade agreement.

“From words to real deeds. And probably we all – not only UK but us also – it’s time to go for real negotiations and not just negotiating in the media by rhetoric,” Grybauskaite told Brussels journalists.

Great Britain should pull out of the EU in March of 2019, however, the talks should be over by November of 2018 to give national parliaments of EU nations enough time to ratify the Brexit treaty.
