Developed by company founder Mikael Thuneberg as a tool to connect the Google Analytics API to Excel, the product has evolved into a solution that is now trusted by 400k+ users across 60k+ companies in 120+ countries. Supermetrics offers the #1 marketing add-ons for Google Sheets and Google Data Studio, with more than €20 billion annual ad spend processed with its products. Meanwhile, its client base includes names like Warner Bros, Dyson, BBC and Nestlé, and it is a Google technology partner, working closely with many of the company’s product teams.
Supermetrics has grown to a team of 40 people and has set its sights on rapid expansion in the coming years, with innovation the cornerstone of that growth. Vilnius is a key part of that strategy. Supermetrics’ Vilnius office will be product-centric, working on brand new integrations and features, and with time new features related to data manipulation and engineering will be added.
Leveraging Lithuanian talent to drive development is a number one priority. The plan is that the Lithuanian office will be a second development office rather than a remote development office, meaning that the office will have some independence to work on features.
What attracted Supermetrics to Vilnius? According to CEO Mikael Thuneberg, it was the lure of a pool of skilled PHP developers, a market that is not too saturated, and a location that is culturally close to the company’s Finnish origins.
