
On Wednesday the head of Government of Georgia will be received by Prime Minister of Lithuania Algirdas Butkevičius. The meeting will address the importance of the development of democracy, European integration, visa regime facilitation with the European Union.
The prime ministers will discuss prospects of developing bilateral economic relations between Lithuania and Georgia. Press statements will be made after the meeting. Later, the Lithuanian and Georgian prime ministers will participate in the unveiling ceremony of the Tbilisi Square in Vilnius.
On Thursday the heads of Governments are scheduled to attend the first sitting of the Lithuania-Georgia Intergovernmental Economic Cooperation Commission at the Ministry of Economy.
Prime Minister Garibashvili will also meet with President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė, Speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas Loreta Graužinienė, Minister of Foreign Affairs Linas Linkevičius, Minister of Economy Evaldas Gustas, representatives of business organisations and will visit Vilnius University.
