DELFI / Valdas Kopūstas

In her words, Ocean Crown started moving towards the port at 11:30 a.m.

The 190-m bulk carrier is empty and was en route to Klaipeda for a freight of grain, said Ringis.

The rescue work was started on Tuesday afternoon, with the rescue operation headed by the Dutch company Smit.

Ocean Crown with a crew of 20 ran aground in early hours of Sunday due to what appears to be an error of the main engine.
