Antanavičius was notified of the suspicions after President Dalia Grybauskaitė lifted his legal immunity in late July at the request of Prosecutor General Evaldas Pašilis.
Investigation data gives reasonable assurance that the Kaunas judge paid a 600-euro bribe to Mažeikiai judge Mindaugas Klemenis at the end June, asking to reduce an administrative penalty imposed by local police on a private individual.
