“Reliable energy supply is one of the key factors contributing to energy security. Disruption in electricity supply would have an impact on the daily activities of people. By cooperating with NATO Energy Security Centre for Excellence we will be able to deepen our knowledge and exchange experience to protect the power system from any disturbances,” said Litgrid’s CEO Daivis Virbickas.
“We are glad to expand cooperation with our partners. Cooperation with the Lithuanian electricity transmission system operator Litgrid will be fruitful because we are going to enhance the competence of both organisations, which will result in a higher added value in terms of ensuring the security of our societies. By cooperating with specialists in our field we will be able to expand our knowledge, share in information and invite our partners to participate in international exercises and training courses hosted by us.
