Lithuania seeks to become most attractive European country for life sciences development

Skvernelis described the opportunity for him to speak at the exhibition as recognition of Lithuania’s life sciences sector, one of the country’s fastest growing industries.

“Lithuania’s ambition is to become the most attractive country in Europe for the development of life sciences,” the prime minister said in a press release.

“We aim that the share of Lithuanian life sciences in Lithuania’s total value-added reach 5 percent in 2030,” he added.

BioJapan 2018 has brought together 1,100 participants, including 18 Lithuanian life sciences sector companies.
