Lithuania to appoint new ambassadors to India, Armenia

Under the draft decrees, Laimonas Talat-Kelpša, the ambassador to India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka, is to be recalled on Apr. 6 and Erikas Petrikas, the ambassador to Armenia, on May 14.

Lithuanian ambassadors are appointed by the president on the government’s recommendation and with approval from the parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee.
