Lithuania visited by 10.2 percent more tourists

Iceland registered the largest increase in tourist numbers in the first nine months when compared to the same period last year, 23.1 percent. Greece is in third place with a 16-percent increase, year-on-year.

Meanwhile Latvia was the second as the number of foreign tourists visiting Latvia increased 18.9 percent in the first nine months of the year when compared to the same period last year, which was the second largest increase in Europe.

In Lithuania, the number of foreign tourists visiting the country increased by 10.2 percent in the first nine months of the year (6th largest increase), but in Estonia – 3.7 percent (seventh smallest increase).
