Lithuanian formin attends Warsaw Security Forum

On Wednesday, he is scheduled to take part in a discussion “Security in Europe – Fault Lines in the East” with the Polish, Ukrainian, Moldova and Georgian counterparts, and will later deliver the main speech at a solemn ceremony for former Danish Prime Minister and NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen who will receive a Knight of Freedom award, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

Lithuania is a guest of honor at this year’s forum, and the presentation of the 2019 Dakar vehicle of Lithuanian Benediktas Vanagas and Polish Sebastian Rozwadowski will become one of the features of the event. In Vilnius, the vehicle was presented during the Polish foreign minister’s visit to Lithuania.

The Warsaw Security Forum is organized by the Casimir Pulaski Foundation and is attended by high-ranking government and army representatives, security and defense policy experts from NATO and EU states, as well as Eastern partners.
