This indicator reached 64 percent of the EU average in Latvia, 68 percent in Poland and 76 percent in Estonia. According to the Statistics department, Bulgaria and Romania did the worst in 2014 – their GDP per capita reached 47 and 55 percent of the EU average, respectively. The strongest countries were Luxembourg (at 266 percent of the EU average), the Netherlands (134 percent) and Ireland (131 percent).
