The Labour Party’s acting chairman Šarūnas Birutis told BNS that the congress, scheduled for Jan. 6, would also make decisions on cooperation with other parties.

Viktor Uspaskich, the Labour Party‘s founder who has not been active in politics for the past few years, confirmed to BNS several weeks ago that he would run for the post of chairman.

Around ten candidates have been proposed by now, but their names have not been made public.
