
“I am deeply shocked by the deadly armed attacks in France. On behalf of the people and the Government of Lithuania, I convey my heartfelt condolences to the families and relatives of the victims. Today we stand together with entire France”, the prime minister wrote.
Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė and Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius signed the book of condolences last week.
On behalf of the president, Linkevičius also took part in Sunday’s march in Paris, held to honour the terror attacks victims and show support to freedom of speech. He joined representatives of Germany, the UK, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Latvia, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary and Portugal.
